Easter Feather Crochet Tutorial

This is a crochet tutorial for making an easter fether that you can hang from your "easter tree". I usually don't overdo it with my easter decorations. I stick to easter egs and easter fethers.

Why feathers for easter?

The nordic tradition to put feathers, usually colorfull, in the easter tree dates back to the 19th century. Unlike the easter tree itself, the feathers have no religous meaning. People started to decorate with fethers because they where available. And they are somehow meant to represent spring.
