This is a 10 page crochet pattern that shows you how to make a LP shaped hot pad. The size of the finished LP disk will be ~30 cm cm (~1 foot). The pattern consists of a symbol chart and a written step-by-step instruction.

A yarn needle

3 colors of yarn

Stitches & Language

The symbol chart in this pattern contains the following symbols:

Chain
(CH)

Single Crochet
(SC)

Increase
(INC)

Double Crochet
(DC)

Double Crochet
Increase (INC(DC))

SC Back Loop
Only (SC BLO)

Slip Stitch
(SS)

And the instructions are written in this manner:

2 CH, turn, 4 SC. Then we repeat the pattern: 1 INC, 10 SC, 5 times.
You should now have 6 stitches left, in those stitches we put 1 INC, 5 SC.
Make 1 SS in the top CH to close the round.
The round total should now be 72.
